Joanne’s shell art journey began years ago and was beautifully enriched when she was gifted a vast collection of sea shells from a former shell shop on St. Pete Beach. Her work celebrates the natural beauty of the coast, transforming found treasures into whimsical and meaningful creations such as wreaths, picture frames, shell oraments, memory jars, decorative boxes and more. Now, Joanne Manwaring brings heart, history, and hands-on creativity to the Young Artists Series. Whether she’s crafting with kids or curating her own pieces, Joanne’s love for shellwork is contagious.
