Amanda Westenberg Ceramics
Amanda Badgley Westenberg is a ceramic artist based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She hand-builds vessels that often feel like objects from another era, inviting viewers to imagine their stories. Originally from Ohio, Amanda earned her BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design and spent over a decade working in experiential design, creating immersive art for commercial interiors in Portland, OR and Boston, MA.
After becoming a mother and relocating to St. Pete, she shifted her focus from client-based creative work back to her fine art roots. In 2024, she began working with clay, drawn to its tactile, grounding nature. Influenced by her visual background and a deep interest in the narratives objects hold, her ceramic pieces often appear aged and carry a sense of memory.
She received First Place in Florida CraftArt’s 2025 Members Show and was featured in their juried exhibition 99 Bottles. Her work has also been shown through Creative Pinellas and the Morean Arts Center, and she is a 2025 Florida CraftArt Emerging Artist.
