The Art of De Fence

Meet Mike Woodall and his delightfully witty collection, “The Art of De Fence.” Mike’s artistic journey proves that inspiration can come from the most unexpected places.

“During the pandemic my mentor, Mary [Grieco], encouraged me to express myself with discarded fence slats. With the encouragement of my muse, Joyce, I have created over 100 pieces. Some here in OSE create Fine Art, I call mine Ine Fart.”

With a perfect balance of playfulness, humor, and clever repurposing, Mike turns discarded wood into vibrant local treasures. His work brings a refreshing spark of fun to the enclave, reminding us all not to take life—or art—too seriously!
